My beautiful lines are fading.
They're no longer the vibrant red
of new incisions.
The holes I poked in my wrist
still make me smile.
They're my secret,
and I can see them all day long.
I can blame it on those playful adoption kittens.
They just don't know how to watch those claws/teeth!
